Description:
William McKinley Signed Letter, Presidential Seal and 2 Confederate Stamps, comprising a typed letter signed by William McKinley, to 'Mr. Wm. H. Sprague', July 14th, 1896, in receipt of a letter, with holograph envelope and the private seal of the President of the United States with stamp 'Rec'd executive mansion, Washington, DC, May 26, 87' on page. Together with two Confederated States of America stamps, with handwritten inscriptions on verso.Measurements: Height: of letter 8 1/4 in. x Width: 5 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall fair condition, toning, to papers, wear to edges of letter, wear and small losses to edges of stamps, envelope with tears and stains, losses and cracking to seal.
