Description:
John Berkey (American, 1932-2008), 3 Concepts for Elvis Presley Enterprises, c. 1997, Gouache on Illustration Board, comprising a 17 in. x 25 in. concept for an Elvis Presley venue with large marquee for Elvis Presley Enterprises, a 11 in. x 19 in. concept study for the same venue (water damage bottom edge, mostly in boarder), and another 11 in. x 19 in. concept study for the venue (water damage lower edge), all unsigned and unframe.
John Berkey was an American artist known for his space and science fiction themed works. Some of Berkey's best-known work includes much of the original poster art for the Star Wars trilogy, the poster for the 1976 remake of King Kong and also the "Old Elvis Stamp". Condition:
The largest in good condition, with light wear to mat, minor creases at corners of mat, some surface dirt in sky, the smaller studies with water damage along lower edges, wear to edges, minor stains in boarders.
