Property from a South Carolina Private Collection
Description:
Japanese Painted Silk Scroll, inscribed upper left, stamped lower right, depicting a landscape scene with figures, with silk border, together with fitted box. Overall size of scroll: 7 ft. 2 in. x 26 1/2 in.Measurements: Height: of image 58 in. x Width: 20 1/4 in.
Condition:
Overall fair condition, toning, stains lower edge in border, tears along top and bottom edges with some repairs, minor creases and foxing in painting, stains to back, box worn.
