Property from a Private Collection, Savannah, GA
Description:
Hardwood Dining Table, possibly a campagne table, the rectangular top with rounded corners above a frieze, and raised on detachable screw-in ring turned legs, formerly opening to accommodate leaves, now fixed, Provenance: Tyson Family, McIntosh County, GA.Measurements: Height: 29 in. x Width: 47 in. x Depth: 42 in.
Condition:
Distressed condition, the 8 plank top with stains, burns, old marks and scratches throughout, with lifting and separation to panels, old termite damage to underside of center planks, old marks and scratches to legs, water damage to bottoms of legs, burns to bottoms of two feet, all formerly fitted with casters.
