Description:
George III Ivory Tea Caddy, 18th Century, ivory veneered and metal mounted tea caddy, of decagonal form, the hinged pyramid top with silver metal handle, the front with inset silver metal oval panel engraved with monogram, with tortoiseshell banding on base, with key.Measurements: Height: 5 1/4 in. x Width: 4 1/2 in. x Depth: 2 3/4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, some hairline cracks to ivory veneer, minor polish residue around metal, lacking three rivets around monogram panel, crack to tortoiseshell banding on one edge, some discoloration to tortoiseshell, wear to interior.
