Description:
English Rosewood Tea Caddy, 19th C, of sarcophagus form with four squat bun feet, mother-of-pearl escutcheon, and later gilt metal lion-form handles. The inlaid interior with two lidded sections flanking a central bowl recess with associated cut glass bowl.Measurements: Height: 8 in. x Width: 12 1/2 in. x Depth: 7 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, old marks and scratches to wood, some minor age cracks, wear to edges, small patches to veneer, lacking key, handles likely later, chips and scratches to glass bowl.
