Property from the Estate of William H. Rasch
Description:
Partly Engraved Document Signed Granby, Office of Ordinance, 1765, John Manners, Marquis of Granby (1721-1770), vellum, document in which Granby appoints William Bryant as quarrier of Newfoundland, with Granby's name and offices printed decoratively across the top, signed lower left, with embossed paper seal upper left, floating in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 18 5/8 in. x 22 1/2 in.Measurements: Height: sheet size 11 1/8 in. x Width: 15 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, vertical creases from folding, ink slightly faded, small loss to lower right corner.
