Description:
Attrib. J.Fisher (British, act. 1845-1854), Two Portraits of Victorian Women, Watercolor, 19th Century, two oval shaped portraits of women in Victorian dress, one showing a woman with a basket of eggs, looking at the viewer, initial signed JF lower right, back of frame marked 674, the other woman gazing at a portrait miniature, with a letter and trees behind her, back of frame marked 673, plaques on frames reading 'J. Fisher of Bristol XIX Century Miniaturist,' with green mat, in giltwood frames, frame size 24 in. x 20 in.Measurements: Height: by sight, 14 1/2 in. x Width: 10 1/2 in.
Condition:
Good condition, some wear to gilt and cracking of frames.
