Property from a Private Collection, Beaufort, SC
Description:
American Empire Mahogany Card Table, c. 1830, the hinged top opening to polished surface and rotating above a well.Measurements: Height: 29 in. x Width: 36 in. x Depth: 18 in.
Condition:
Fair condition, top worn, sun fading, age cracks to veneer of top along lines of construction underneath, wooden nut for rotating mechanism stripped, old marks and scratches, age cracks to veneers of plinth, age cracks to feet.
