Description:
After Joshua Reynolds, Marquis of Granby, Oil on Canvas, half-length portrait of the Marquis in military dress, with inscription reading "Marquis of Granby by J. Reynolds" on stretcher, in a giltwood frame. Frame size: 26 3/4 in. x 20 3/4 in.Measurements: Height: by sight, 22 1/2 in. x Width: 16 1/2 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, craquelure, some areas of inpainting in cheek, coat, hands and background, some small losses to paint, relined, stretcher marks at edges, light wear to frame.
