Description:
African Painted Wood Mask, probably Lwalwa, Republic of the Congo, with carved top.
Provenance: Exhibited "African Art in Unlikely Places: The David Rapkin Collection," University of Nebraska, Eisentrager-Howard Gallery, 2012.Measurements: Height: 11 1/2 in. x Width: 7 1/8 in. x Depth: 7 3/4 in.
Condition:
Overall good condition, age crack on one side with small hole and another on the top with hole, some other small age cracks and wear to edges and surface, surface dust.
