Property from a Private Collection, Savannah, GA
Description:
6 Faience European Plates, Possibly Spanish, Painted with Animals, probably 19th century, comprising six faience glazed plates decorated with various animals in unique landscapes, unmarked.Measurements: Width: diameter 10 3/8 in.
Condition:
All with general wear and scratches, multiple glaze blemishes and irregularities, wear and chips to outer edges, plate with large yellow horse with 1 in. hairline crack to rim, plate with giraffe and goat with large central glaze blemish, plate with chickens and birds with losses to glaze on outer rim.
