Description:
Group of 5 Glass and Sterling Silver Jars and Another Jar, comprising a glass jar with Gorham sterling lid decorated with repousse cherubs, the glass with flower branches (lid marked 'Sterling D784'), a glass jar with ceramic lid decorated with courting couple in a brass surround and mounted with a mirror on the interior, a small glass jar with silver repoussé lid (marked 'Sterling'), a small glass jar with R. Blackinton sterling monogramed lid (marked 'Sterling, 4509'), a small glass jar with floral repoussé sterling lid (marked with English hallmarks with rampant lion and 'G & C Ld.' makers mark), and a small glass jar with silver lid decorated with repousse cherub (marked with English hallmarks with rampant lion and 'A & L Ld.' makers mark). 2.59 troy ounces of sterling silver.Measurements: Height: of largest 3 5/8 in. x Width: 4 1/4 in.
Condition:
Overall fair condition, general wear, scratches, and dings, some dents to edges of silver lids, ceramic lid slightly loose and brass with dents, frits and small chips to edges of glass.
