A GEORGE V SILVER CANTEEN FOR SIX PERSONS
by Emile Viner, Sheffield 1935-1935, Hanoverian Rat Tail pattern, the teaspoons by David Landsborough Fullerton, London 1915 and 1917, Old English pattern; the flatware in a fitted and brown felt-lined oak case, with bone-handled knives en suite. (48 pieces) Canteen 40.5cm wide, 31.5cm deep, table forks 20.5cm long, 69.6 troy ounces gross (excl. table and cheese knives)
Comprising: (six of each) by Emile Viner, table forks, all 1931; dessert forks, all 1931; soup spoons, two 1932, four 1933; table spoons, three 1932, three 1933; dessert spoons, all 1935; tea spoons, by David Landsborough Fullerton, four 1915, two 1917; table knives and cheese knives, with bone handles, blades etched HARRISON BROS & HOWSON, CUTLERS TO HIS MAJESTY.
