1815 to 1866, Extensive Collector/Dealer Group Lot of Fifteen (15) Miscellaneous 19th Century Historic Lottery Ticket and Related Items, all Very Fine or Better.
This choice, impressive looking interesting mixed Lottery group contains (15) early to mid 19th Century Lottery and Related Items which Include:
1. "City of New Orleans" Premium Bond, 8" x 4", $20 value earning 5% per annum.
2. "Grand Lottery of Real Estate" ticket, number 58133.
3. 1861-Dated, 5.5" x 8.25", Letter of Notification of winning Lottery Certificate, with transmittal envelope, Class 204 Lottery Certificate, and a 7.5" x 9.75" Broadside, "Grand Lotteries for the Benefit of the State of Delaware". (4 items).
4. "Well's Free Distribution", 3.5" x 6", 8 pages, Pamphlet advertizing a "Free Distribution" of Mr. George A. Wells' estate and property, an interesting scheme.
5. Sheet of (4) unissued "Miner's Hospital / Grand Gift Concert" tickets, Schuylkill County, PA., with Stubs still attached, Sheet measures 8.5" x 11".
6. May 30, 1820-Dated, Printed Letter, 7.5" x 10", Philadelphia. Letter Advertizing the "Grand State Lottery, No. 8", (3) Ticket examples printed at bottom.
7. May 7, 1857-Dated, 5.75" x 3.25", "Certificate of Share in The People's Levee", reverse has list of gifts with their value.
8. August 2, 1866-Dated, 5.5" x 3", Ticket to "Grand National Concert", Washington, D.C., to "Benefit of the Soldier's Orphan Home Fund".
9. March 1815-Dated, "Medical Science Lottery" Ticket, N.Y., No 19287.
