c. 1980 (production), An impressive Complete Set of special Collector-Made fully Colorized Sterling Silver Bars depicting "America's First Bank Notes." This beautifully presented American Currency Set consists of 15 Specimen "Notes," one each from: CT, DE, GA, MA, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, SC, VA, plus the District of Columbia and the Bank of United States. Each engraved Sterling Silver "Note" weighs 4 Troy Ounces. The reverse of each example has a green border and center image of a Heraldic American Eagle with, "America's First Bank Notes" above and below and reads: "Limited Edition 5,000 - 4 Troy oz / .999 Fine Silver". It appears similar to products of the Franklin Mint, this Set issued by The Washington Mint. Its deep blue Custom Storage Case has three separate levels of blue felt lined shelves, each displaying five different notes. Scarce. (15-Silver bar set).
