Four (FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT) Stamped Signature Gorgeous Quality Postmaster Appointments 1936 to 1937
(FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT) (January 30, 1882 - April 12, 1945). 32nd President of the United States in office March 4, 1933 - April 12, 1945 and a central figure in world events during the mid-20th century.
Group of Four Impressive Vivid Crisp Near Mint from (Franklin D Roosevelt) as President, having his Stamped Signature, Postmaster Appointments:
1. September 16, 1936-Dated, Partially-Printed Document Stamped Signature, (Franklin D Roosevelt) as President, 23" x 19", Washington. An original Appointment for "Walter F. Boyle", to serve as "Consul of the United States of America at Guatemala, Guatemala". Stamped countersign by "Cordell Hull" as Secretary of State. Embossed paper seal intact.
2. March 30, 1937-Dated, Partially-Printed Document Stamped Signature, (Franklin D Roosevelt) as President, 23" x 19", Washington. An original Appointment for "Walter F. Boyle", to serve as "Consul General of the United States of America at Guatemala, Guatemala". Stamped countersign by "Cordell Hull" as Secretary of State. Embossed paper seal intact. Creases and trivial stains along upper left edge.
3. March 24, 1937-Dated, Partially-Printed Document Stamped Signature, (Franklin D Roosevelt) as President, 23" x 19", Washington. An original Appointment for "Walter F. Boyle of Georgia", to serve as "Consul General of the United States of America". Stamped countersign by "Cordell Hull" as Secretary of State. Embossed paper seal intact.
4. August 17, 1937-Dated, Partially-Printed Document Stamped Signature, (Franklin D Roosevelt) as President, 23" x 19", Washington. An original Appointment for "Walter F. Boyle of Georgia", to serve as "Secretary in the Diplomatic Service of the United States of America". Stamped countersign by "Cordell Hull" as Secretary of State. Embossed paper seal intact. Minor creases and stain along left edge. A wonderful group of four official documents which would be excellent for framing and display. (4 items)
