This historic primary source ANTI-SLAVERY Archive consists of Forty (40) different Newspapers including; Vol. 26, No. 14, August 12, 1865 to Vol. 27, No. 13, August 4, 1866. Each Newspaper displays a large 6-column layout, having 4 pages each issue complete, being published by the "Anti-Slavery Society." A very rare and intriguing historical contemporary perspective on the ongoing debate over Slavery in America leading to the American Civil War. This 40 Issue run of Slavery related newspapers actually covers both sides of the Slavery debate. Its emphasis by the Anti-Slavery proponents from across the country, and also reports on related news accounts reported from around the world. Each original issue is Signed on the front page of to the previous original owner and subscriber, "C.V.B. Chase" who kept this group as his archive. Some typical minor expected tone, folds, and dampstaining, while the print itself is crisp and legible. Archive being sold "as is" intact as such.
