1862 Civil War Period, Confederate Book titled, "Acts Of The General Assembly State Of Virginia, Passed in 1861-2...," plus bonus Imprints bound in, including The Constitution of the Confederate States of America, Published by William F. Rithchie, Richmond, Virginia, Very Fine.
This original fascinating and informative Civil War Period printed Book measures 9-1/8" x 5.75", bound in its original marbled covers with calf spines. The covers are worn, yet the internal pages are in better condition with mostly bright paper, minimal foxing, and crisp clear sharply printed text. There is some modest waterstaining on the final several pages.
This historic Volume contains: "Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Virginia, Passed in 1861-2" (182 pages); "Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Virginia, Passed at Extra Session, 1862" (32 pages plus Index); and Ordinances Adopted by the Convention of Virginia ar the Adjourned Session in November and December 1861" (11 pages); and "The Constitution of the Confederate States of America Adopted March 11, 1861" (15 pages).
