Superb "CHURCH BELLS. - Vignette - PAUL REVERE & SON" Print Advertisement for Paul Revere's Bell Foundry
October 7, 1807-Dated, "MASSACHUSETTS SPY, OR WORCESTER GAZETTE," Newspaper with advertisement for Paul Revere's, "CHURCH BELLS. - PAUL REVERE & SON," Printed by Isaac Sturtevant, for Isaiah Thomas, Worcester, MA, Very Fine.
Paul Revere's, "CHURCH BELLS. - PAUL REVERE & SON," foundry -- which features a wonderful sharp and well printed large Engraved Woodblock cut printed vignette of a large Church Bell. This issue is Vol. 36, No. 1800, in a 5-column layout, measuring 18.75" x 12.75", 4 pages, complete as issued. Accounts of historic news of the day, featuring the terrific page 4, paid advertisement for REVERE. Overall, clean and complete with some fold line tone at the top left of the front page where exposed. Additional important historic content includes a page 1 column 5 report at bottom on: "The British Treaty." a Pamphlet regarding "the TREATY negotiated by Messrs. MUNROE (sic) & PINCKNEY, and sent back unratified by Mr. JEFFERSON..." and much more. A choice example for Paul Revere's, "CHURCH BELLS. - PAUL REVERE & SON," of Boston advertisement and more.
