12.5" x 8" selection, disbound, separation at spine; else excellent. "An Act for more easy Recovery of Debts in His Majesty's Plantations and Colonies in America." The pamphlet reads, in part: "And be it further enacted by the Authority aforesaid, That ...the Houses, lands, Negroes, and other Hereditaments, and Real Estates, situate or being within any of the said Plantations belonging to any Person indebted, shall be liable to, and chargeable with all just Debts, Duties, and Demands". Exceptional, bright woodcut of the royal coat of arms on the front cover, and a nice woodcut of an initial cap ["W" of "Whereas"] on the first internal page.
