The chair offers prominent rosette motifs to the terminals of back and arm supports. The upholstery boasts a grey-blue tone, accompanied with back support cushion. Terminating on four turned feet supported by a stretcher. A rare Arts and Crafts exhibition style oak chair with Voysey style uprights to the front with carved flower head caps. The armchair designed by Walter Cave and made by R Nash was exhibited at the Arts and Crafts Exhibition in 1899. Ref The Studio Vol 11 page 181.
