ALOIS HANS SCHRAM, (AUSTRIAN 1864 -19) OIL ON BOARD 'THE MONEY CHANGERS' 10" X 14",:Signed lower left and 1887. Schram was born in Vienna in 1864. He studied at the Vienna Academy and was awarded a medal in 1892. From the collection of Michael J. Kearins, who lived in Grosse Pointe Shores and acquired fine paintings circa 1930 - 40. Works have remained in the family through three generations until this time.
The frame size is, height 16" and width 20". JW/TW 4-1-17 (Very well done with great detail. As viewed under UV light in the unopened frame: UV clean except for a little overpainting and paint wear around the very edges of the board; very small 3/8" long light scratch next to the lip of the frame in the center left.
