This edition of Verve is dedicated entirely to the last work of Matisse, 1950-1954. Illustrated throughout with many color lithographs, in single, double, triple, and quadruple pages, all in place and in good condition. The orange cover was designed by Matisse especially for this edition, the color lithographs were printed by Moutlot Frere, and the heliogravure in black and white by the master printers Draeger Frere. American Edition, published by Harcourt, Brace and Company, New York, printed in France by Verve, Paris-France 1958.
