Joe Munroe (1917 - 2014 Michigan, Ohio, California) Untitled photograph of a Frank Lloyd Wright architectural model of the Guggenheim Museum Gelatin silver photograph mounted to Masonite Measures 25 x 38 inches Two of the photographer's paper labels verso Provenance: Collected by artist Ron Slowinski during the time he worked at the Guggenheim.Joe Munroe was an important American photographer. Early in his 60 year career he worked as staff photographer for the Cranbrook Academy of Art and taught photography there. Around this time he photographed a number of private residences designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and is credited with a portrait of the a architect at work around 1941.
Condition
Mounted to Masonite, some minor edge chips, moderately toned, surface discoloration in a few scattered areas.

Items requiring construction of a crate will be charged at $17.50 per hour for labor plus the cost of materials. Items designated as over-sized by commercial carriers and those weighing more than 100 pounds may be best shipped by 'blanket wrap' carriers.
