Group of 4 Antique 19th and Early 20th Century Textile Swatch Books-Silks and more. The group includes approximately 566 antique c1890 silk Textile Swatchbooks split between 4 self-assembled books featuring 1890s silk jacquards florals and fruit. 1920s silk, wool, velvet, and flannel plaids, stripes, and solids. 1890 Silk French Jacquards, florals on stripes, and plaids. And 1890 brocades, jacquards, and damask, and more in a variety of hues and patterns. The books are in fair condition with brittle tape held spines and pages. The samples are in good/fair condition with some of the silk samples having glue stains and age related shattering. This Textile Swatch Books collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
