Group of 3 Antique 19th and Early 20th Century Textile and Paper Swatch Books Books-Silks, Paper and more. The group includes approximately 748 vintage and antique c1899-1940 self-assembled Textile Swatchbooks in a mix of velvets, silks, leather, brocades, jacquards, paper, and more. An 1890 book with Foulards, Jacquards, Geometrics, Textures, Florals, and Paisleys. AN 1890 era Silk Jacquard and Moire book. And one of the books features paper cuttings of embroidery patterns in animal and sporting themes, hand painted pattern samples, and more. The books are in fair condition with brittle page and bindings. The samples are in good/fair condition with several of the silks and cottons having glue stains. This Textile Swatch Books collection was the property from a well known NYC textile and garment design archive which provided design and concept inspiration to fashion and textile designers around the world for more than 25 years. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first lot and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
