Condition/Comments: 22-1/2”w x 28-1/2”h. This beautifully crafted piece is illustrated in a faux oil painting technique, as if painted on canvas. It is highly detailed in its depiction of not only the bottles in the foreground, but the restaurant scene in the background. The colors and paint quality are wonderful, with no sign of fading or lightening. While the surface is not factory-fresh, there is no crazing or chalking. Given its size, there are a few small flaws that are easily lost in the lushness and complexity of the scene. The piece does have the following notable flaws: four small nail holes at the top in the area of the crown, white paint or scratching across the red curtain, a mark across the glass of beer, and a bit of wear and oxidation on the rim, especially at the bottom. Despite these, this very rare piece remains remarkably stunning. Additional detailed close-up photos are available on MoreanAuctions.com
