Condition/Comments: 5-1/4” diameter. This tray employs a subtle, soft color scheme in its Art Noveau-style border that works in harmony with the soft tones used in the hand-colored photo. Very few trays of the era used photographs as their basis of illustration, most likely because of the lack of color photography and the limitations of lithography at the time; illustrations were far more colorful and easier to transfer. The tray is gorgeous, with a wonderful sheen. There is little to find wrong with it, the only nits being a few tiny nicks in the rim.See descriptionCondition
