Condition/Comments: 4-1/4” diameter. Here is another very rare New York tray. This unusual embossed design is in wonderful condition. The classic overall red/gold/black color scheme is accented with just a bit of blue on the barrel in the center. Note the address and phone number on the rim, which help to date the piece. The embossing raises the border of the star a considerable amount above the surface of the tray, yet these raised areas have remained remarkably unscathed through the years. The only marks of note are areas of discoloration on the rim at about 8 o-clock and in the embossed area of the star also at about 8 o-clock. A highly desirable tray.See descriptionCondition
