Born in Okinawa, Japan, Thomas Nakada grew up in Hawaii where he was influenced by the diverse cultures present on the islands. He moved to San Francisco to attend college and established himself as an artist. The details of his upbringing, education, and artistic style are influenced by his journey from Okinawa to Hawaii to San Francisco.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 11 and Monday, June 12. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upcoming payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense.
