Rudy Autio (1926-2007) is best known for his figurative ceramic vessels, though he has also worked in bronze, concrete, and glass; fabricated metal sculpture; and designed colorful Rya tapestries. Many of his ceramic and tile mural commissions are in public buildings in the American Northwest, and he has works is included in the collection of the Crocker Art Museum.
