Maryann Steinert-Foley was born in Flushing, New York in 1950. She completed a BA in Art Studio, with honors, at the University of California, Davis in 2011 and received the Departmental Citation for Outstanding Performance from the UC Davis Art Department Faculty. Her interest is mainly in ceramic sculpture and her belief that work ought to show “evidence of the artist’s hand” is prominent her sculpture. Maryann currently shows at Jen Tough Gallery in Santa Fe, b. sakata garo in Sacramento, the Pence Gallery in Davis, and the Epperson Gallery of Ceramic Arts in Crockett. Her work is represented in numerous private and public collections. She lives with her artist husband in Northern California.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 11 and Monday, June 12. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upcoming payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense.
