Information provided by the Artist: Cory Swenson-Scott received his Associate of Arts degree before continuing his academic pursuits at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Working as a resident assistant and student, he received his BFA in 2015. In addition, Swenson-Scott was featured in a group show in Wonderland SF Gallery. In 2016, he started his private classroom for children in Sacramento. Swenson-Scott continued his education and was accepted into the AAU Spring Show. He received his MFA in 2017 and won first place for his art in the AAU Spring Show. He held two solo exhibitions before he was featured at SHOH Gallery in Berkeley, California, as well as a dozen group shows within the Bay Area. He has been accepted into the Crocker Art Museum for continued showing annually. In 2020, Swenson-Scott finished a series of one hundred portraits which he self-published as a book. He works from his private studio in Japan and Sweden, teaching and painting full-time. His most recent exhibition was held in Fujiyoshida on February 21, 2024.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upon payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Email artauction@crockerart.org for more information.
