Information provided by the Artist: Clay Vorhes is a painter who lives and works in Sacramento. A close friend of the late Wayne Thiebaud, Vorhes’ work is heavily influenced by Thiebaud in whimsy, bold colors, and heavy texture. He has painted professionally for over 25 years and has collectors throughout the globe. He is represented by Skidmore Contemporary Art in Palm Desert, California and Gerald Peters Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upon payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Email artauction@crockerart.org for more information.
