The Crocker Art Museum's Silent Auction features over 100 original works of art by emerging artists and some of the biggest names in the Sacramento region and beyond. Fair market value: $2800Information provided by the Artist: Barbara Takenaga is an abstract painter living and working in New York. Awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2020, she was recently commissioned by the New York MTA to create a permanent installation of mosaic and glass at the White Plains station. Exhibitions include MASS MoCA, the Neuberger Museum, and Bemis. Collections include the Crocker Art Museum, the San Jose Art Museum, Williams College, Yale University Art Gallery, the National Academy of Design, among others. She is represented by DC Moore Gallery in NYC.

To pick up your artwork at the Crocker Art Museum, appointments will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for Sunday, June 9 and Monday, June 10. A weblink to reserve your pick-up time will be sent to you upon payment of your invoice. Buyers may also ship their work at their own expense. Email artauction@crockerart.org for more information.
