After Porfirio Salinas, "Western Landscape," 20th c., oil on board, signed l.l., presented in a gilt and gesso frame, H.- 11 1/2 in., W.- 15 3/8 in.
Condition
Condition consistent with age. Three pea-size paint losses are observed along the top and right edges with several smaller losses nearby. An approximate 1 cm faint black streak is seen in the clouds in the middle left. Scattered gold residue is observed along the right side of the frame. A flea-size raised spot is seen near the right edge. No fluorescence is observed under black light. A charming scene. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS." NO STATEMENT REGARDING CONDITION OF ANY ITEM, WHETHER IT IS MADE ORALLY AT THE AUCTION OR ANY OTHER TIME, OR IN WRITING IN THE CATALOGUE OR ELSEWHERE, SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE A WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR ASSUMPTION OF LIABILITY.
