Vasarely from the series of "Plastic Arts of the 20th Century", edited by Marcel Joray, with numerous illustrations and prints, many with with printed clear plastic over-lays,1969 (?), , ,As published by Editions du Griffon,Neuchatel-Suiesse, , See website for additional data.In good condition, original dust cover, some toning on the spine of he dust jacket, usual shelf condition., Ref: , , ,Framed in accordance with accepted conservation standards, acid free mats and mounts, removable hinging.,This volume details Vasarely's evolution from his 1929 Bauhaus days through subsequent periods of experimentation and development up to his last years. The dummy was prepared by Vasarely and much of the text includes Vasarely's own words about his work. The illustrations are very elaborate and technically sophisticated so as to present many of his theories in a graphic format using plastic overlays and other devices to demonstrate his evolved final designs and concepts.
