- Lot Description
.30-30 caliber, 20" barrel with a full magazine, S/N 2108325. Blue finish, engraved with fine scrolls, a deep relief panel with a ram climbing the mountain, ram is in gold. On the left side is a panel in deep relief engraving os a Ram coming down. Ram is in raised gold. Finely checkered straight wrist and forearm Lyman rear tang sight and hooded front sight. Checkered steel butt plate. In an original Winchester cardboard box blue, red and white box. Our consignor sent this carbine to Germany in 1957 and had it custom engraved by Friedr Wilm Heym with gold inlays. Very fine work.
*Requires FFLCarbine is as new. Only the frame was refinished by the engraver when the work was done. Barrel and magazine tube have the original blue finish. Stock and forearm are excellent.Condition
