- Lot Description
.38-55 caliber, 24" octagonal barrel, S/N CCH15968. Blued barrel with color casehardened receiver and forend cap along with full-length magazine tube and saddle ring. Tacked stain finish walnut stock. Left side of barrel forward of reciever marked with Winchester trademark, one-line arddress, model, and caliber. Right side of barrel marked "chief crazy horse" highlighted with a gold colored filling. Left side of receiver engraved with a plains hunting scene surrounded by the names of Lakota Nation bands. Right side of receiver engraved with portrait of plains man with mounted plains Indian surround by names of additional Lakota bands. Serial number on bottom of receiver with Model name on upper tang. Comes in original box. Right side of butt has commemorative medallion marked "chief crazy horse/united sioux tribes".
