** Winchester Model 70 Super Grade Rifle with Zeiss Scope in Griffin & Howe Mounts
.300 Win. Mag.caliber, 26" heavy barrel, S/N 10011 (mfg. ca 1937). Blued finish, checkered Monte Carlo stock with contrasting forend tip, checkered metal buttplate and Winchester grip cap. Standard Winchester barrel markings, barrel and receiver tapped for scope mounts with off-set Winchester proofs. Magazine floor plate marked " SUPER GRADE ." Equipped a Lyman receiver sight base, without sight itself and an adjustable globe front sight. Also with Griffin & Howe quick detach side mounted scope mount and a Ziess telescopic sight with leather covers.
Fine. Retains most of the blued finish with some light wear and thinning. Mechanically functional, very good bore that is lightly frosted and needs to be cleaned. Optics clear. Stock crisp with scattered bumps, dings and handling marks.Condition
