Winchester Model 1894 Button Magazine Rifle
.30-30 caliber, 26" half-octagonal barrel with button magazine, S/N 119561 (mfg. ca 1898). Blued finish, smooth straight-gripped walnut shotgun butt with hard rubber Winchester buttplate and smooth forend. Standard 2-line barrel marking and 3-line tang marking. Adjustable buckhorn rear sight and dovetailed front sight blade with white bead. A well used, but very handy antique M1894 with a number of special order features.
Good to very good. Retains some traces of blue, primarily in protected areas of the receiver, the balance a lightly oxidized brown over gray patina. Clear markings, mechanically functional, good bore with some light frosting. Wood with some wear, showing scattered bumps and dings.Condition
