- Lot Description
.22 W.R.F. 24" octagonal barrel with magazine tube under barrel, S/N 701718 (1927 manufacture). Blued finish, walnut stock and forend. Upper left angled barrel flat marked with usual two-line Winchester address and patent information, - MOD. 90 - and caliber designation. Upper receiver and top of barrel stamped with Winchester proof marks. Lower receiver and tang with matching serial number.
About very good overall. Barrel retaining most of its original blue and receiver retaining traces of blue with a mostly pewter patina. Buttplate with some crusty surface oxidation. Mechanically functional, very good bore. Oil finished walnut stock and forend in very nice condition as well.Condition
