- Lot Description
.50-95 WCF caliber, 26" round barrel with a button magazine, S/N 61209. With Winchester, New Haven and King's Patent markings on the barrel, along with the caliber at the breech. The caliber is also marked on the underside of the brass elevator block. The top of the dust cover is stamped Winchester Express .50 Cal. .95 Grs. Barrel with rear sporting sight. Walnut stock and forearm with sling swivels and crescent buttplate. Includes factory letter.
Condition
The barrel has a grey patina, with areas of brown throughout. There is a small area of pitting on the underside. The frame, fore end cap, hammer, lever and buttplate have all been chemically enhanced. The stock and forearm have some nicks and dings and are in good condition. The rear sling swivel needs repair. The bore is in good condition. The mechanics are very good.
