.22 LR, 28" barrel, S/N 18600 (mfg. ca 1941). Blued finish, smooth pistol-gripped walnut stock with plain forend, detachable magazine, sling swivels. The Model 75 Target rifle was announced March 1939 with deliveries starting in August. It was available from the start with a special 8-power target telescope. The rifle with scope bases only listed for $25.40 and the 8-power scope for $9.50 in 1939. Production is of these factory scoped rifles is estimated as between 500 and 800, and very few have survived with their original scope. Includes a single magazine.

Fine. Retains most of the blued finish with some lightly scattered surface oxidation, minor fading and loss. Mechanically functional, very good, mostly bright bore. Stock with scattered light handling marks and some surface scratches. Clear optics, scope body with finish loss.

At the request of the buyer, Cowan's will authorize the shipment of purchased items. Shipments usually occur within two weeks after payment has been received. Shipment is generally made via UPS Ground service. Unless buyer gives special instructions, the shipping method shall be at the sole discretion of Cowan's Auctions, Inc..
