- Lot Description
Cody, William F. "Buffalo Bill" (1846-1917). Albumen photograph, 11 x 15.75 in. on slightly larger mount, photographer unknown, signed and inscribed, "With the compliments of yours sincerely / W.F. Cody / Buffalo Bill / 1889."
Condition
Toning to photograph. Few slight surface abrasions, including scratch that extends through "1889" and end of "Bill". Signature and inscription a bit worn, but still legible. Mount/albumen slightly trimmed along bottom edge. Some wear to corners. Remnants of tape on mount verso.
