American, early 18th century. A pair of William and Mary side chairs in maple, with stepped crests, molded stiles, turned legs and stretchers, and leather upholstered seats and backs, in old black paint; oah. 44 in. (each).
Provenance: Property from the Descendants of Bertha Benkard Rose, Oyster Bay, NY and Tucson, AZLater upholstery. One front stretcher replaced. All feet ended out.Condition
