American (Massachusetts), early 18th century. A William and Mary daybed in walnut, having a carved arched and caned adjustable back flanked by block and turned supports, the rectangular caned frame having block and turned stretcher support, rising on Spanish feet; ht. 36, wd. 21.25, dp. 60 in.
