Nolan, Frederick. TASCOSA ITS LIFE AND GAUDY TIMES. (Lubbock, Texas): Texas Tech University, (2007). First Deluxe Limited Edition, #22 of 25 Signed by the Author. 10 3/4 by 7 1/4 inches in 1/4 leather and woven cloth, with gilt titling to the spine and five raised bands. Housed in a matching woven cloth slipcase. Much on the outlaws and lawmen in this Texas Panhandle town including Billie the Kid, Pat Garrett, Bill Gatlin, Jim East et. al. in the 1870's and 1880's when the town was born and grew into prominence -- only to later retreat and shrink into "ghost town" status by the early years of the 20th century. With extensive bibliography, index, notes and a folding map at the rear.
