Virginia Union Extra! Virginia City, NV: April 10, [1865], 12 [A]M. Newspaper broadside extra, 4 x 13 in.
A rare Western ghost town mining imprint, even more desirable with the announcement of the Confederate surrender. With copies of correspondence between Lee, Grant, and Stanton printed below.
Condition
Trimmed along margins, notes affixed to reverse suggests this may have been removed from a scrapbook, although this cannot be confirmed.
Surface wear to foot.
